Dana Drever (Cav 2020) - The Cavalier Girls program is co-led by Dana Drever. Dana has been involved with the game of lacrosse for over 20 years. She played lacrosse at the high school level, college level and for the USWLA National Midwest Team. She received many honors including all-district, all-region, all-state and MVP. Dana was the head coach for the Stone Bridge High School Girls’ Varsity team from its inception through 2007. During that time she led the team to two undefeated seasons, two district championships and was named coach of the year two years in a row. She has coached numerous indoor winter league teams and ran a summer lacrosse camp for high school players. Dana has also worked with the Dominion High School team during their off-season.
Kristen Freudiger (Cav 2020) - The Cavalier Girls program is co-led by Kristen Freudiger. Kristen grew up in Canada where she played boys box lacrosse as a goalie. She went on to Limestone college in Gaffney, SC. Kristen is a 2005 & 2006 1st team All-American and 2005 NCAA Defensive Player of The Year. While at Limestone, her Saints squad went to the NCAA tournament in 2005 and 2006. She was team Captain multiple times. She then went on to play for Team Canada and was later the head coach at South Lakes High School.
Hilary Murray (Cav 2021/2022) - Hilary’s love for the game started at an early age playing pick up with her large, lacrosse-loving family in Charlottesville, VA. She spent many summers as a kid playing summer league for Seminole Lacrosse. She went on to play attack at Albemarle High School and midfield and attack for the George Mason University club team where she also served as Captain her senior year. Prior to moving to Northern VA, Hilary spent three years as a lacrosse coach at Brownsville Elementary School in Crozet, VA.
Natalie Drever (Cav 2021/2022) - Natalie Drever has played and coached lacrosse for over 15 years. She was a four year varsity letter winner at Dominion High School where she received multiple awards and served as team captain, while also volunteer coaching for Algonkian Tribe. During high school she was also a member of the Cardinal 2013 Red Team which was nationally ranked as 45th best in the USA. She went on to play Division I Varsity Lacrosse, and later became the founder, president, and 2015 MVP of the Women's Club Lacrosse Team at Mount St. Mary's University. At the Mount she pursued her B.S. in Business and Management. During college, Natalie started coaching club lacrosse for the Cardinal 2019 Red Team and transitioned to Cavalier Lacrosse coaching clinics and winter league, and is a Head Coach for the Cavs 2021-22 Team. In Spring 2017, Natalie served on the Varsity Girls Lacrosse Program for Heritage HS. In Spring 2018, she served as the Varsity Head Coach at Herndon HS where she led the team to break seven school records, which positioned them to make their first ever appearances in the District, Regional, and State Tournaments. Here she was recognized by her peers and named All-Region Coach of the Year. Starting Spring 2019 to the present, Natalie serves on the Varsity Girls Lacrosse Program for Langley HS. She is excited to kick off the season and help her players grow and develop through the lacrosse world!
Bucky Morris (Cav 2021/2022) - Bucky has been coaching boys and girls youth and high school lacrosse teams for over 25 years. Bucky is the Executive Director for McLean Youth Lacrosse and McLean Box League. He also is the Head Coach for Langley High School. Bucky has been named All Conference, All Region and All State Coach of the year in 2017. Also in 2017, he led the Langley Saxons to Liberty Conference Champions, state semi-finalists and Northern Region Champions. In 2018, Bucky repeated as Liberty Conference Champions and were also state finalists. Bucky has coached many other teams including the Under Armour DC Metro Highlight Team, Robinson High School, Potomac School, McLean High School Boys, U16 VA Commonwealth Games and US Lacrosse Youth Festival
Devin Stubbs (Cav 2021/2022) Devin Stubbs took an interest to lacrosse from watching her sister play at Dominion High School. She began playing youth league in 5th grade for the Ashburn Bandits and hasn’t stopped since. Stubbs went on to join the Ashburn Warriors travel team in the 6th grade upon its creation. She was starting goalie for both her travel team and youth league, both being located in Ashburn. Stubbs was trained by Harry Alford, a former MLL player and goalie at University of Maryland. Stubbs went on to play at Dominion High School on the varsity women’s lacrosse team for 3 years as starting goalie. She served as captain her senior year. Stubbs currently attends Radford University, she is pursuing her B.S. in Media Studies Journalism. She will graduate in May 2019 and move on to a graduate program in Sports Management. Coach Stubbs is excited for the season and to be fully emerged in lacrosse once again! Let’s go Cavs!
Mark O'Brien (Cav 2023/2024 Orange) Mark grew up in Springfield, VA, and attended West Springfield High School where he was a multi-year all-district/all-region lacrosse player and was named to the 1992 All-American team his senior year. Mark was one of the first public high school players out of Northern Virginia to ever play on scholarship at a top tier Division I program, Loyola College (Baltimore, MD) (now Loyola University), where he was a first-line midfielder for the Greyhounds his junior and senior year. Mark played in the NCAA Division I tournament all four years at Loyola where his team narrowly missed the final four his sophomore year when the Greyhounds lost to Brown University in OT. Mark received All-American honors his senior year at Loyola, tallying 25 goals that year against some of the toughest programs in the country. Since graduating from college, Mark has been an active member of the lacrosse community, where he has coached both girls and boys lacrosse for many years. Mark just completed (spring 2018) his fourth season coaching girls lacrosse with the Ashburn Bandits.
Taylor Pascale (Cav 2023/2024 Blue) - Taylor is from Ashburn and played varsity lacrosse all four years and was a two year captain at Stone Bridge High School. While playing at Stone Bridge, Taylor received many honors including First Team All-District, Athletic Honor Roll, First Team All-State, Academic All-American, First Team All-Region and Regional Defender of the Year. Taylor also set a school record on most turnovers in a season. Taylor went on to play Division 1 lacrosse at Coastal Carolina University where she was named by the Big South Freshman of the Week. Due to injury her lacrosse career ended early, but she remained part of the team. At Coastal, Taylor majored in Graphic Design and was on Coastal Carolina's President's List and Dean's List. Taylor has been coaching lacrosse for 5 years.
Jen Flanagan (Cav 2023/2024 Blue)Jen Flanagan is from Great Falls, Virginia where she started her lacrosse career in first grade. A defensive player from the start, she grew up on the field playing for her local Great Falls league and travel teams. Jen attended high school at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart where she was a four-year defensive starter and captain her senior year. She was named a US Lacrosse Academic All American in 2013 and 2014 and awarded the Student-Athlete Leadership Award from the Stone Ridge Athletic Department in 2014. Jen graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2018 where she studied International Economics and French. She competed in the Division 1 Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse League (WCLL) as a member of Notre Dame’s club program, nationally ranked in the top 25 each year, serving as captain and coach her senior year. She earned a spot on the WCLL Honorable Mention Team in 2015 and 2018. Jen is thrilled to return as a coach to her favorite sport, especially since her younger cousin is a Cavs player. Lets go Cavs!
Molly Lausten (Cav 2023/2024 Blue) Molly Lausten is from the Ashburn area where she played for Stone Bridge High School and was a four year starter. She was also a senior captain and hold records for most goals in single game and assists in a season. Molly went on to play Division III lacrosse at Haverford College where she was a four year varsity attacking starter. She holds the record at Haverford for single season free position goals. Molly is excited to bring her lacrosse knowledge to our Cavs program.
