We are excited to start our new 2026/2027 team for the fall season!

Our new team will be led by head coach, Emilee Kucheruk.  Emilee has been involved with lacrosse for over 11 years.  Her first steps into the sport were in 2nd grade when her older brother began playing.  She began playing when she was 13 and was coached by her mother, a former lacrosse player.  Emilee was a captain and three-year Varsity starter at Dominion High School and was dubbed "the utility player" as she played defense, midfield and attack.  While attending Lynchburg College, she was a four-year defensive starter for the women's club lacrosse team which she later became President and Treasurer from 2014-2016.  During her senior year, she was the head coach for the E.C. Glass JV Girls' Lacrosse team.  In 2018, she helped coach Herndon High School's JV and Varsity Girls' Lacrosse teams to winning seasons.  Emilee continues to play summer lacrosse and trains in her free time.  She graduated from Lynchburg College with a BA in Studio Art and a minor is Psychology, and is currently studying Occupational Therapy through St. Catherine University.  She looks forward to her first year coaching with Cavalier Lacrosse.
